Thanks in advance for donating your goods to St. Vincent de Paul! Its value will reach the other side of town and the world. Here is some guidance as you make your donation choices.
When it comes to men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, St. Vincent de Paul – Twin Cities eliminates the decision to donate or toss.
St. Vincent de Paul employees and volunteers sort each piece of clothing – keeping quality items for Thrift Store sale, Parish Free Store giveaways or shipment to missions abroad.
Items that don’t make the cut are recycled to produce everything from insulation, stuffing for cushions, wiping rags or soundproofing material.
Housewares, toys, electronics, furniture
The high cost to dispose of certain pieces prevents us from accepting all donations. If it is torn, damaged, not functioning as-designed or is old technology, you may be asked to take and dispose of it.
Some of the most needed items in the community as well as things we cannot currently accept are linked here.
